Music Ministries
Eaglesounds - Youth in grades 6 to 12 sing and play music several times a year at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Rehearsals are Sundays following the 10:30 a.m. service.
St. John’s Choir - Teens and adults sing each Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service from mid-September to mid-June
for special services, and an annual concert. Rehearsals are on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, September 18th at 9:00 a.m. in the choir room.
The choir sings during the school year at the 10:30 a.m. A few extra rehearsals are
held during the year. Please call Stephen Rapp if you are interested in joining the group!
Summer Choir - Children grades 3 and up and adults sing on a Sunday by Sunday basis for the 10:30 a.m. service from
mid-June to Labor Day weekend. Rehearsals Sundays at 9:50 a.m.
Instrumentalists - People of all ages who play musical instruments participate either as soloists or in ensembles
throughout the year.
Joyful Noise Committee - Members meet several times a year to assist in planning special concerts each year. They
administer the Lutheran Summer Music Scholarship Program.
Lutheran Summer Music - High school singers and instrumentalists apply each year for this national program held at a
Midwestern Lutheran college. St. John’s offers partial scholarships.
