Ministries Invitation
Dear Friends,
St. John’s invites you to assist in leading worship. Worship is a Christian’s primary activity. Lutheran
liturgical worship encourages participation by all. Leadership is a shared responsibility. It can require regular commitment
and special talents, such as singing or reading, while other areas need only an occasional giving of time and less specific skills.
Worship is more meaningful when we can take an active role. Parents in particular should encourage their children to serve
in one or more of the ways listed here so that they may learn to look forward to worshiping with family and friends.
We hope you will take a moment to find at least one way you can take an active role this year in serving at worship.
Whatever you are able to give will be rewarded by a growing awareness of God's grace to you and to all who gather for worship
at St. John’s.
