Tuna Drive

As we do each year, the Sunday School will be collecting cans of tuna in each class during the Sundays in January. The class that collects the most cans by the end of the month will be treated to breakfast on Christian Ed during Sunday School on February 5th. All of the tuna will be donated to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Last year we collected around 1,200 cans of tuna.

From the Merritt Parkway Northbound (from New York and Westchester):
Take Exit #35 and proceed south on High Ridge Road. At the fourth Traffic Light, just past the Shell Gas Station, turn left onto Vine Road. Go to the end of Vine Road and turn right onto Newfield Avenue. St. John’s is on the right just past Trinity Catholic High School.

From the Merritt Parkway Southbound (from New Haven):
Take Exit #36, turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp, and proceed south on Hoyt Street. Bear right onto Woodway Road, just past the Woodway Country Club. At the end of the road, turn left onto Hope Street. Follow Hope Street to the second traffic light and turn right onto Weed Hill Avenue. At the end of Weed Hill Avenue, turn left onto Newfield Avenue. Follow Newfield Avenue past the traffic light at Vine Road. St. John’s is on the right just past Trinity Catholic High School.

From I-95 Northbound (from New York and Westchester):
Take Exit #8, proceed straight to the third traffic light, and turn left onto Elm Street. Continue straight for about three miles, as Elm Street becomes Grove Street, Strawberry Hill Avenue, and Newfield Avenue. St. John’s is on the left just past Union Baptist Church (on your right).

From I-95 Southbound (from New Haven):
Take Exit #8 and turn right onto Elm Street. Continue straight for about three miles, as Elm Street becomes Grove Street, Strawberry Hill Avenue, and Newfield Avenue. St. John’s is on the left just past Union Baptist Church (on your right).
