Funerals and Courtyard Memorial Garden Committals
Funerals, memorial services, and committals are occasions of worship wherein the people of God celebrate life and embrace the Easter promise of Jesus Christ. The pastor and musicians of St. John’s Lutheran are ready to support you in your time of loss and provide a Christian service of hope in the resurrection power of God.
Information about the burial of cremains in the Courtyard Memorial Garden should be directed to the pastor; the pastor will provide guidelines for Courtyard use and make all necessary preparations.
You are encouraged to preplan for funeral or memorial worship services. The Preplanning Guide can assist you as you speak with family members and make your desires known; it includes a worksheet for preferences in music, Scripture, and other details of the worship.
