Tuna Drive

As we do each year, the Sunday School will be collecting cans of tuna in each class during the Sundays in January. The class that collects the most cans by the end of the month will be treated to breakfast on Christian Ed during Sunday School on February 5th. All of the tuna will be donated to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Last year we collected around 1,200 cans of tuna.

2012 Super Bowl Party
Join us, Sunday, February 5th at the home of Bob and Marietta Meyer for a Super Bowl Party. Bring a dish and a beverage of your choice. Please RSVP Marietta Meyer, if you are attending and what dish you will be bringing. Always a great time is had!

St. John’s Lutheran Church’s Annual Meeting
will be held Sunday, February 12th Immediately following the 10:30 a.m. Worship service. A light lunch will be provided. Please bring your annual report.

Adult Forum
Join us in the Connecticut Room Sundays at 9:20 a.m. For the winter months we will be reading and discussing the book of Ezekiel. No other biblical prophet can compare with Ezekiel’s bizarre behavior and psychedelic imagery. To add to our study of Ezekiel Pastor Harris will show slides of the topography of Judea and Jerusalem. If you have any questions, please speak with Pastor Harris.

Mardi Gras Party
February 19th Come experience the tastes and sounds of the Big Easy at a Mardi Gras party on Sunday, February 19th at 5 o'clock. The youth will be providing a sumptuous array of tasty New Orleans Treats accompanied by fabulous entertainment to support the trip to the 2012 National Youth Gathering. Tickets will be available during coffee hour @ $10.00 per person and $12.00 at the door. For more information, speak with Pastor Kroeze or Mary Lupo.
